John W.  Bush
John W. Bush, age 83, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed from this life November 2, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

John was born March 29, 1933, in Putnam County, Tennessee, to the late Elvis Floyd and Rhoda (Brown) Bush.

He was a plumber and pipefitter, 50-year member of Plumber and Pipefitters Local Union #572 (Nashville, Tennessee) and worked in construction with his brother, James N. Bush.
He was a Christian (member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Baxter), husband (married Lueddie Rogers Bush on December 30, 1954), father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Before the illness of Dystonia, he could be found feeding and tending to his cattle, riding his John Deere around the farm, working on local gas pipelines, riding on the pontoon boat, fishing and spending time with his family at home or on vacation. In earlier years, he would not miss an opportunity to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Lueddie of Cookeville; daughter, Teresa Cooper of Cookeville; son, Tommy Bush and wife, Pam of Maryville, TN; Four grandchildren, Jennifer (Bush) Pesterfield and husband Brent of Maryville, TN; Alex Bush and wife Adriana of Smyrna, Georgia; Kyle Cooper and Brice Cooper of Cookeville; One great-granddaughter, Taylor Pesterfield of Maryville, TN and another great-grandchild due to be born in May 2017 to Alex and Adriana. He is also survived by two sisters, Vernell Vickers of Algood and Betty Dean Williams and husband, Jack of Buffalo Valley; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Alfred, Ralph, Fred and James; and one sister, Estelle (Bush) Marlow.

Funeral services for John W. Bush will be held Sunday, November 6, 2016, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn funeral Home with Bro. John Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, November 5, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again Sunday, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm.
