Bonnie Hazel (Dixon) Waldrep, age 75 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Friday, January 9, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.

Mrs. Waldrep was born Tuesday, February 14, 1939 to the late Donald and Bonnie Easter (Cornwell) Dixon.

Bonnie was a homemaker and former employee of Russell Stover in Cookeville, and UniRoyal in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of Cookeville Baptist Temple Church in Cookeville, involved with the Jail Ministry and Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed gospel music and other activities with the church. She was a member of Eastern Star in Cookeville. Bonnie loved people and every one that knew her loved her.

Bonnie is survived by her Husband:
Oscar "Cotton" Waldrep of Cookeville, TN

1 Daughter and Son-in-law:
Cindy and Ken Young of Cookeville, TN

1 Son: Tim Waldrep of Cookeville, TN

5 Grandchildren:
Shannon Hamilton, Josh Waldrep, Timmy Waldrep
Rachel Young and Cara Cash

3 Great Grandchildren:
Logan Hamilton, Chira Cash, and Cameryn Cash

1 Brother: Jim Dixon of Naples, FL

Numerous Nieces and Nephews

In addition to her parents Bonnie was preceded in death by: 1 Granddaughter, Courtney Cash, 1 Great Grandson, Malachi Waldrep, 1 Sister, Frances Williams, 3 Brothers, Bill Dixon, Kenneth "Fid" Dixon, and David Dixon.

Funeral Services for Bonnie will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 beginning at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Jared and Bro. Jerry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 12, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
