Obituary for Willard Norris Kelley

Willard Norris Kelley, 91 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Willard was born Sunday, July 5, 1931 in Scottsburg, Indiana, and he was the son of the late Charles Bonford Kelley and the late Iva Ann (Broady) Kelley.

Willard was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, uncle, and friend. He held full time ministries with the Treaty Church of Christ in Wabash, Indiana, Forest Lake Church of Christ in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and 30 years at Central Christian Church in Rockford, Illinois. Interim ministry with the Christian Church in Rochelle, Illinois and supply preaching at Hatcher Hall Christian Church in Monroe, Tennessee and First Christian Church in Byrdstown, Tennessee. Willard was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Willard is survived by, Wife of 69 years, Janice Kelley; 2 Children, Linda Berg and Laura Griner and her husband David; Son-In-Law, Kent Wolfe; Chosen Child, Jill Kennay; 10 Grandchildren, Kynda Nelson and her husband Scott, Kelly Crawford and her husband Jesse, Kasey Watts and her husband Jeremy, Kandis Moss, Kami Beavers and her husband Ryan, Kaden Berg and his wife Kerry, Dayla Hurley and her husband Travis, Danielle Curtice and her husband Drew, Lyndon Griner and his wife Natalie, and Deondra Deaderick and her husband Ian; 37 Precious Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, George Robert "Bobby" Kelley, and Wilbur Kelley and his wife Sue; Sister, Patricia Ann Zollman; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by, Daughter, Lisa Loreen Wolfe; Son-In-Law, Brad Berg; Grandson-In-Law, Kenny Moss; 2 Brothers, Charles Eugene Kelley, and Baby Boy.

Funeral Service for Willard Norris Kelley will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 12:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Asche officating. Interment will follow at the Cherry Creek Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
