Velma "Loudell" (Burroughs) Dilldine, 80 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Loudell was born Saturday, September 28, 1940, in Willow Grove, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of the late Willie George Burroughs and the late Stella (Stover) Burroughs.
Loudell was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mom, granny to all, aunt, and friend. She worked at the Martins Shirt Factory and Universal Plastics where she retired from. Loudell was a wonderful Christian, she attended West View Baptist Church, and made sure that her faith was known. She was known for her cooking and gardening. Loudell was loved by all that knew her, she loved them, and she will be greatly missed.
Loudell is survived by, 3 Children, Sherry Jean Looper and husband Danny, Jeffrey Dilldine, and Jammie Dilldine; 5 Grandchildren, Joshua and Keri Lineberry, Brandon Lineberry, Kayla, and Greg Jackson, Cameron Clement, and Zachary and Macey Dilldine; 15 Great-Grandchildren, Isabella, Keaton, Tyler, Blaise, Andre Cole, Atri, Ariana, Ady, Leelan, Jessa Ann, Lana, Lily, Ramay, Hannah, and Lana Jo; 2 Siblings, Betty and Roy Webb, and Thurman Burroughs; Sister-in-law, Anna Ruth Burroughs; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Loudell was preceded in death by, Husband, Cameron "Gene" Dilldine; 3 Siblings, Donald Burroughs, W.G. Burroughs, and Estelle Thompson;
Graveside Service for Velma "Loudell" (Burroughs) Dilldine will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Mike Webb officiating.
Private Family Visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
