Thurman Benton Gaw went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2020. Mr. Gaw was
born on 12/25/1932 in Russellville, Kentucky. He was a Veteran and served in the
Army stationed in Germany. Mr. Gaw loved to talk about Religion and Politics. His
favorite music was County and he would play his favorite songs when anyone visited.
Mr. Gaw was a kind and living partner to his wife Maxine of forty two years. Mr. Gaw is
survived by his wife Maxine Gaw, his three daughters Cheryl Cardiel, Paula Blade and
Christie Gaw-Hamlet, one son Eric Gaw, two sisters Jan Stafford & Barbara Allen, one
brother Carl Gaw and too many nieces and nephews to list. Mr. Gaw had fourteen
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his two sons
Kenny and Doug Gaw, one daughter Kimberly Parrett, his parents Edd and Willa Gaw,
two brothers JB and Tom Gaw, and three sisters Lou Nelson, Easter White, and Della
Henley.
There will be a graveside service at Crestlawn Cemetery in the Veterans Court on
Wednesday November 4th at 1pm. Pastor Ron Allen will officiate. There will be a
Celebration of Life Memorial following service at Living Hope Church at 2:30PM following the graveside service.
