Obituary for Terry Wayne Nabors
Terry Wayne Nabors, 77, of Cookeville, Tennessee, gained his heavenly reward on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
Terry was born May 17, 1945, and he was the son of the late Rev. Harvey and Lura (Sullivan) Nabors.
He married Linda (Judd) Nabors on October 2, 1965, and he was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart. You rarely saw one without the other, and they went on many adventures together.
Terry served as a deacon and Sunday school superintendent for many years.
In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his children: Mitzi and Greg Bumbalough of Dodson Branch and Chad and Robyn Nabors of Cookeville. He was the beloved Grandaddy of Jordon Fletcher, Isaac Bumbalough, Judd Nabors, and Lily Nabors. Terry is also survived by his brothers, Charles and Loretta Nabors, and James C. Nabors, all of Cookeville.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by, In-Laws, John Hilman and Nola (Gentry) Judd.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Ernest Buchanan and the nursing professionals at Upper Cumberland Family Physicians for the exceptional and compassionate care they provided to Terry.
Graveside Service for Terry Wayne Nabors will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, at 3:00 pm from the Cookeville City Cemetery with Bro. Harold Walker officiating.
