Obituary for Shirley Louise Masters (MacDonald)

Shirley Louise Masters, 95 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at NHC Healthcare of Cookeville.

Shirley was born Tuesday, December 2, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan, and she was the daughter of the late Austin Douglas MacDonald and Hazel (Eastwood) MacDonald.

Shirley was a loving daughter, wife, and friend. She was the life of the party, an avid animal lover, and was always ready for the next trip. Shirley was loved by everyone that knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Shirley is survived by, Sister, Martha Roberts; Special Friends, Debra Hargis, Deana Hargis, Heather and Kyle Story, and Vay Vickers, Jr; Brother-in-law, Carl and Ethel Masters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by, Husband, William Parker Masters; Siblings, Walter, Jim, John, Joan, and Betty; and Special Friend, June Vickers.

Due to Covid-19 it is requested that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Graveside Service for Shirley Louise Masters will be held Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 3:00 pm from the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Ryan Barnhart officiating. Interment will follow the service.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 1, 2020, from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to The Post Oak Presbyterian Church.
