Sara Ruth Tubb, 74, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Sara was born on Thursday, June 3, 1948, in Sparta, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Claude Evans Tubb and the late Mattie Elizabeth (Deck) Tubb.
Sara was a loving daughter, sister, mother, Nana, and friend. Sara loved to entertain friends and family, especially hosting UT football game parties where she was able to show off her cooking skills. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Sara is survived by, her daughter, Stephanie Arnett; son, Bobby Prater; three grandchildren, Tyler Arnett, Sienna Prater, and Elena Prater; two sisters, Claudette Lowery and her husband Mike, Betty Ragland and her husband Jimmy; brother, Jack Tubb.
Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering for Sara Ruth Tubb will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at her daughter's home.
