Obituary for Robert Howard Vaughan
Robert Howard Vaughan was born January 28, 1929 in Murfreesboro, TN, and he crossed over on August 5, 2022.
Mr. Vaughan was preceded in death by a son, Greg Vaughan, his parents, Bob Bell Vaughan and Hazel Vaughan Martin. Brother Charles Vaughan and sister Hazel Gertrude Vaughan.
Robert retired from the U S Army after serving 21 years. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars receiving numerous medals and awards, as well as teaching at West Point. He was Arty, and Aviation. He also retired from Dupont and invested in real estate. Robert also had a passion for vintage model cars traveling with the S.M.A.R.T military group and enjoyed life till the end.
He was a raised as a Master Mason in 1962, Vine Grove, KY. 32nd Degree Mason. Valley of Dothan Orient of Alabama and he served more than 60 years.
He will be sadly missed by his long time companion, Jacqueline Shoulders.
Graveside Memorial with Masonic Service and Military Honors will be held at Crest Lawn Cemetery on
Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Veterans Court of Honor.
