Robert "Bob" Allen Trueman, 80 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Bob was born Saturday, September 19, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, and he was the son of the late Arthur Earnest Trueman and the late Carey Havolyn (Godley) Cypress.
Bob was a loving son, brother, husband, father, PawPaw, uncle, and friend. He proudly served in the United States Army. His fondest memories were growing up in Charleston, South Carolina. Bob was a Master Mason for many years.
Bob is survived by, 2 Sons, Ryan Trueman and his wife, Marianne, and Tommy Farr; Daughter, Melanie Wallace; 7 Grandchildren, Steven Wallace, Savannah Sisk, Kayla Wallace, Gabriel Trueman, Evan Trueman, Mia Trueman, and Charlotte Trueman; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Anne Settle; Brother, Ron Trueman; Niece, Michele Morrison and her husband, Eric; Nephew, Edward Traylor, IV; A host of cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by, Wife, Bettye Jane Trueman.
Celebration of Life for Robert "Bob" Allen Trueman will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 5:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mike White officiating with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Veterans Honor Guard, 90 East Spring Street, Cookeville, Tennessee, 38501.
