Obituary for Michael "Mike" Louis Jones
Michael "Mike" Louis Jones, 63 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Mike was born Saturday, January 17, 1959, in Deckerville, Michigan, and he was the son of Louis Abraham Jones and Marion "Elaine" (Sherman) Jones.
Mike proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for several years. He was a great carpenter and took pride in his work. He had many talents including being a mechanic, handyman, and an all-around jack of all trades. He loved NASCAR and enjoyed going to Talladega this past fall. He liked to play golf occasionally and beating his brother-in-law Dan was the highlight of his golf game. Mike was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Mike is survived by, Love Of His Life, Lori Coyle; Son, Scott Jones and his wife, Heidi; 4 Grandchildren, Lexus, Isaiah, Gracelyn, and Bradyn Jones; 3 Siblings, Debby Evans and her husband, Dan, Mark Jones and his wife, Shannon, and Darlene Rase and her husband, Rory; Father and Mother, Louis and Elaine Jones; Lori's Mother, Carol Hine; Lori's Children, Kristina Waller, and Melody Coyle; Lori's Grandchildren, Zackary, Kyla, and Gavin; Lori's Great-Grandson, Zayden; A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
Mike chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
