Mark Ray McMasters, 72 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, April 21, 2023, at NHC Healthcare Cookeville.
Mark was born Wednesday, October 18, 1950, in Akron, Ohio, and he was the son of the late Charles Edwin McMasters and the late Evelyn Helena (Purigraski) Phillips.
Mark was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Granddad, and friend. He loved to share his music with whoever would listen. He rocked a wide range of music from country to R&B. No matter the style, he loved giving the music a heartbeat with his drums. Mark was loved by all that knew him and his great smile and boisterous laugh will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by, Wife of 42 years, Sandy McMasters; 2 Children, Sara Easom and her husband David, and Seth McMasters and his wife, Nicole; 5 Grandchildren, Grayson, Gabriel, Emma, Liam, and Adalyn; Sister, Gale Pierce; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by, Brother, Paul McMasters.
Memorial Service for Mark Ray McMasters will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Yarbrough officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
