Margaret "Peg" Louise (Wilkins) Sloat, 94 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at her home.
Peg was born Thursday, June 21, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and she was the daughter of the late Russell Earl Wilkins and the late Bea (Lakin) Wilkins.
She like stale circus peanuts, ginger, and furry animals. She also liked to bake, birds, and books. Oh and puns.
Peg is survived by, Husband of 23 years, Emerson Sloat; 8 Children, Rick Hurst and his wife, Susan, Steve Hurst and his wife, Ann, Chris Hurst and his wife, Cindi, Kathi Hurst, Jeff Hurst, Laura Hurst, Rick Sloat and his wife, Stacey, and Glen Sloat and his wife, Robin.
Peg chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
