Obituary for Mable Lee (Brown)
Mable Lee, age 95 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at her home in Cookeville.
Born Thursday, August 18, 1927, in Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary (Tayes) Brown.
Mable was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was a member of the Sycamore Church of Christ for over 40 years. She worked in the cafeteria for Putnam County School System for many years. She loved gardening, canning, and watching the Memphis Grizzlies Basketball team.
She is survived by:

3 grandchildren and spouses:
Stephen and Cynthia Lee, David and Jennifer Ward, and Ryan and Andrea Ward
8 great-grandchildren:
Caroline, Andrew, Abbey, Jonathan, Gwen, Miriam, Constance, and Contessa.

Willene Brown
A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Lee, an infant daughter, and infant son, 1 sister, Marie Curtis, 1 brother, Freeman Brown, 1 son-in-law, Garry Allen, and 1 granddaughter, Julie Breen.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sycamore Church of Christ Widows Ministry.
Funeral services for Mable will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, beginning at 1:00 pm at Sycamore Church of Christ with Bro. Johnny Fox, Bro. Kevin Daughrity, and Bro, Steve Reeder officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Sycamore Church of Christ Thursday, December 29, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again Friday at the church from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
