Obituary for Lloyd Delane Phillips
Lloyd Delane Phillips, 63 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Signature Health Care of Putnam County.
Lloyd was born Sunday, October 11, 1959, in Cookeville, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Lonzo Carson Phillips and the late Ruby Ann (Sherrell) Phillips.
Lloyd was a loving son, husband, uncle, and friend. He loved meeting new people, talking with them, and he never met a stranger. Lloyd proudly served in the United States Army. He loved to travel, especially with his wife, and his nieces and nephews. He was an electrician for many years and owned and operated his own business with his father. Lloyd was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy (Hammock) Phillips; Special Companions, Abby and Snuggles; 5 Nieces, Stephanie Mesagna and her husband Ralph, Jessica Keen, Vanessa Hammock, Kellie Hammock, and Renee Burris and her husband Michael; 2 Nephews, Terry Brown and his wife Angela, and Travis Hammock and his wife Brittanny; 2 Brothers-In-Law; Ronnie Hammock and his wife Shelia, Donnie Hammock and his wife Kathy; Sister-In-Law, Betty Brown and her husband Albert; Aunt, Linda Johnson; A host of cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by, Paternal Grandparents Who Raised Him, McKinley and Dora Belle Phillips; Brother-In-Law, Mark Hammock; Nephew, Tracy Hammock.
Funeral Service for Lloyd Delane Phillips will be held Monday, March 12, 2023, at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. John Pippin officiating. Entombment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery - Mausoleums with full military honors.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again, Monday, March 13, 2023, from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
