Obituary for Linda A Wright (Marshall)

Linda A.Wright, age 66, loving mother of two and adoring wife to Roger Wright for 44 years. She passed away in her sleep on December 6th, 2022 at 3:39 am. Linda was born on March 25th, 1956 in New York. Linda grew up surrounded by her large family. She is survived by her 6 siblings Pat, Lori, John, Donna, Carol, and Barbara. Linda is also survived by her mother Roberta and preceded by her father John and stepfather Hal. Linda was influenced by her family to be a loving, caring, independent woman. She has always given her time to others. Never thinking about herself. She’s incorporated that into her motherhood.

Linda met Roger while working as a bartender in Oakland Park, Florida where they fell in love and didn't look back for 45 years. They decided to have a family of their own. Linda was a mother of two “Chris and Lucas,” and as a mother, she was very involved and always there no matter what. She spoiled her kids and raised them to be strong and ready for life as it was given. Like her mother did for her. Linda always surrounded them with love. She was strict when needed, always caring and never demanding. Her love for her boys could never be matched. Linda’s family grew. She was excited and loved the idea of adding grandchildren. She became a grandmother to Devin and Logan, also becoming a step grandmother to three others. Linda loved all as her own no matter what. Her love for family was undeniably felt throughout our hearts.

Linda loved the Holidays. Christmas, Thanksgiving, all the family gatherings. She loved the cooking and baking, and having everyone together. Everyone together over the holidays is what it was all about for her. Christmas “OH YES,”she loved Christmas the most! All the decorations and wrapping gifts especially watching everyone unwrapping the gifts. There will never be another Christmas throughout the entire family that won’t be reminded of her.

“Linda believed that family was everything important.”

Linda wanted everyone to remember her as she was. The Christmas spirit, beautiful hearted, kind, loving, caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and daughter she was. Linda was one of a kind! She always played it forward, strong, stubborn, loving, and warm hearted. Linda always had positive energy. She will always be loved eternally and deeply missed. Remembered by everyone, especially by Roger, Chris, and Lucas her husband and son’s. Her love and memory will travel through time within us all.

“We know we can’t have you back, but we are happy knowing the angels got you back.”
