Larry Ray Gateley, 69 of Baxter, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Larry was born Tuesday, March 4, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he was the son of the late William Elmoe Gateley and Evelyn Lena (Schroeder) Gateley.
Larry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. He was an avid hunter, fisher, and all-around outdoorsman. He was incredibly loyal to his family and friends and that was very important to him. Larry was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by, Mother, Evelyn Gateley; 3 Siblings, Gayona and Samuel Randolph, Sheryll Lynn Gamble, and Robert and Gina Gateley; Daughter, Jennie and Gary Eldridge; 2 Grandchildren, Caleb and Emily Eldridge; Nieces and Nephews, Marcia, Amber, Stephanie, Erica, Ace, Jason, Joshua, April, and William Nathan; A host of cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his father, Larry was preceded in death by, Wife, Shirley Gateley; Brother, William D. Gateley; Niece, Megan Dale and Nephew, Joseph Gamble.
Celebration of Life for Larry Ray Gateley will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm from the Bethany Methodist Church, 10699 Nashville Highway, Baxter, Tennessee, 38544 with Pastor Tommy Davis officiating.
