Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Lawson, 68 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Kenny was born Friday, June 5, 1953, in Granville, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Clarence Franklin Lawson and the late Carrie B. "Sister" (Gibson) Lawson.

Kenny was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He married the love of his life Charlene (Burgess) October 10, 1973, and they were inseparable. He was a member of the Local 369 Operator Engineer and he was a very hard worker. Kenny had a big heart and wasn't afraid to show his affection to those he loved. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Kenny is survived by, Wife of 48 Years, Sharon Charlene (Burgess) Lawson; Son, Kenneth Dale Lawson; Step Daughter, Chenoa Maynard; Grandson, Mason Lawson; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by, Son, Matthew Wayne Lawson; 3 Siblings, Billy E. Lawson, Lewis Paul Lawson, and Dorothy Gilkey.

Celebration of Life for Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Lawson will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
