John Lynn Hutchison or “Uncle Johnny” as so many called him was a loving caring father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He left this world suddenly on February 1, 2022 at the age of 78.

John was born on March 6th 1943, in San Diego, California, to the late Gerald Lynn Hutchison and the late Hulda Darlene (Taylor) Icenhour.

Before retiring, John was a toolmaker and machinist by trade which transitioned him into the automation industry, building high end custom machines for large companies. He traveled the world installing these machines for many years. He didn’t always enjoy traveling especially being away from home but he loved his job.

John touched the lives of so many people around him in some way. He would always try and put the needs of others before his own. From putting a roof over so many people’s heads to hosting the neighborhood 4th of July party and making his famous homemade ice cream, John just enjoyed making people happy.

John is survived by, his Son and Daughter in law, Timothy and Misty Hutchison; 3 Grandchildren, Heather, Selena, and Zachary; Brother Sam and his wife Cathy Hutchison; Niece Ayesha; and Nephew Jerry.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by, his Brother, Jim Hutchison.

John chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
