Obituary for Jimmy Curtis Tollett
Jimmy Curtis Tollett, age 68 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born Monday, January 17, 1955, in Monterey, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Herbert and Gertrude (Lafever) Tollett.
Jimmy was a loving Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, and friend to all who knew him. He loved his family, country, camping, golf, and the Tennessee Vols. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps when he came of age.
Jimmy is survived by his loving Wife of 15 years: Charlene (Finch) Tollett of Cookeville, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Brenda Norrod, and Ann Carr, 3 Brothers-in-law: Arnold Bowman, Roger Norrod, and Clellon Burchett, 3 Nephews, Jeremy Hunter, Stoney Burchett, and Scotty Robinson, 2 Nieces, Angie Norrod, and Susie Glynn.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Nashville Hope Lodge, and the Wounded Warrior Project. of Putnam County, Tennessee, please contact the funeral home for further details.
A Celebration of Life service will be held, Friday, February 3, 2023, beginning at 5:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. J.R. Walls officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 3, from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 5:00 pm.
