James Ross Hogwood, age 85 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville.

Born Friday, November 6, 1936 in Bridgeport, Alabama, he was the son of the late Aaron and Vienne (Ross) Hogwood.

Jim was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.
He retired from the U.S. Marine Corp after serving 22 years during the Vietnam Era. He loved Baja Jeeping, his dog Ace, and just being outdoors. He was an active member of the VFW and the American Legion.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters and 1 Brother.

Jim had chosen cremation and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Information will be released as it is received.
