Obituary for Herman Louis Whiteaker
Herman "Louis" Whiteaker, 80 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Louis was born Saturday, January 4, 1941, in Cookeville, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Herman Whiteaker and Evalee (Sparks) Whiteaker.
Louis was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandpa. He attended Algood Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golfer, loved to fish where his adventures took him to Alaska and Canada and enjoyed watching the Tennessee Titans. Louis was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Louis is survived by his Wife of 58 years on the 12th of January, Irene Whiteaker; Daughter, Terry, and Lark Moore; Granddaughter, Alisha Brown; Brother, Larry, and Lisa Whiteaker and Nephews, Nathan and Daniel Whiteaker.
Graveside Service for Herman "Louis" Whiteaker will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Richard Bond Officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cookeville Putnam County Animal Shelter.
