Obituary for Helen Irene Bumbalough (Cole)
Helen Irene Bumbalough, 75 of Monterey, Tennessee, and formerly of Redkey, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Helen was born Sunday, September 16, 1945 in Vallejo, California, and she was the daughter of the late Ora A. Cole and the late Ida Belle (Castell) Cole.
Helen was a loving daughter, sister, mom, and nana. She loved to read, do puzzles, crosswords, collecting keychains, and surprising her grandchildren with gifts. Helen was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Helen is survived by, 3 Children, David Lee Bumbalough, Rebecca Jane Shrack, and Daniel Dean Bumbalough; 11 Grandchildren, Joyce LeeAnn Bumbalough, Josie Marie Hamilton, Adam Denzel Shrack, Audie Kalen Shrack, Jessica Lee Shirley, Ashlyn Malea Drummond, Tristan Paul Garner, Jazlyn Nik-cole Bumbalough, Braden Allen Garner, Daniel Dean Trinidad, and Alicia Renae Baldauf; Sister, Pam; A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Helen chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
