Obituary for Gary "Ronnie" Ronald Baker

Gary "Ronnie" Ronald Baker, 71 of Monterey, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home peacefully surrounded by his family.

Ronnie was born Wednesday, October 25, 1950, in Kissimmee, Florida, and he was the son of the late D.J. Baker and the late Mary Bell (Morgan) Baker.

Ronnie was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was selfless, helping anyone that had a need. He loved any sport, especially football, and golf being his passion. He enjoyed watching the old western shows. Ronnie served in The United States Army and was proud of his country. He served in Germany during the Vietnam conflict. In his young adult life, he was a cowboy and enjoyed bull riding with his family. Family to him was most important but most of all his love for his Lord and Savior. Ronnie was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Ronnie is survived by, Wife of 50 Years, Linda (Kragenbrink) Baker; 2 Children, Gary Scott and Chrisinda Baker, and Angela Marie and Carlo Ribera; 9 Grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Alex, Zack, Nadia, Izzy, Kyleigh, Lily, and Benjamin; Great-Grand-Son, Devrick Baker Ribera; 2 Brothers, Danny Joe Baker and Larry Baker; 2 Sisters, Mary Sue Chapin, and Jeri Shugert; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by, 2 Brothers, John Paul and Jack Baker.

Ronnie chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
