Obituary for Elizabeth "Pat" White (Saath)

Elizabeth Patricia White (nee Saath), 89 years young, was called to be with our Lord, on the morning of February 8th, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene Robert White (1930-1974). Amazing mother to Donna Kitlas (Edward), Christopher White (Collette). Loving grand mother to Michael Kitlas, Christopher Kitlas (Kaitlin) and great grandmother to Jonathan Ray Kitlas. Loving sister to the late Joseph Theurer (Jeannette) who regretfully passed 4 days after his sister. Loving and ever present Aunt and to the White, Lewis and Theurer families.

Pat would be found at every christening, shower, wedding, funeral or any other event. She was born March 12, 1932 and was a first generation American born in Philadelphia to German and Irish Immigrants, John Saath of Berlin Germany (1900-1983) and Mary McTeague of Donegal Ireland (1902- 1962). Later moved to Somerdale NJ where she was a pioneer in being a single/widowed parent. Pat started working at Strawbridge and Clothier when they first opened at the Echelon Mall in 1973 and formed many long lasting relationships. She worked as a legal secretary for the State of NJ Mental Health Advocacy from 1980 to her retirement in 2002. Pat tirelessly worked two jobs to support her household well into her 70’s. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, and friendships spanning her 89 glorious years. An active member of the Little Flower HS alumni, and a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church in Somerdale.

Internment will be at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, New Jersey at a later date.

Special thanks to the staff of Cedar Hills Senior Living for their quaility of care to mom for the past 6 years.
