Obituary for Edward Joseph Hagan

If you asked a hundred different people who Edward Joseph Hagan was, you’d get a hundred different answers. A dad. A protector. A chef. A brother. A son. A husband. An iced cold milk lover. An absolutely adored pop-pop. Born in Germantown, Pennsylvania on July 1st, 1964. Throughout his life he focused on being there for his friends, family, and looking over his grandchildren.

He specialized in butterfly kisses, lunchtime notes and dabbled in daily sassy times. Edward is survived by his best friend and wife of forty years, Fanchea Hagan; their four children Christina Hagan, William Hagan, Jessica Hagan, and Eddie Hagan; and his ten beautiful grandchildren Angel, Coleman, and Clayton Metz. Billy Jr. and Bryan Hagan. Chase and Luna Hagan. Michael, Ej, and Liam Hagan. He was a devoted family man who took pride in the loud housep he raised.

It is with a heavy heart we announce on March 7th, 2023, at 2:39am heaven has gained one of its finest angels. We will remember him as being stubborn, goofy and fiercely loyal husband, father, pop-pop, and friend. There are things he wouldn’t miss for the world and not a moment we will have where he won’t be in our hearts. Do to request, his family will be having a celebration of life together with close loved ones. This memorial was written by our eldest granddaughter Angel Metz. She took over when MomMom couldn’t find the words, and she captured it perfectly. If anyone would like to do something in his honor. Go bowling with your family, play a silly card game, go for a walk in the park. And no phones allowed.
