Douglas Lurlene Loftis, 85 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed on Friday, November 27, 2020, at home surrounded by her family.

Born Friday, April 12, 1935 in Gainesboro, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lee Loftis and the late Minnie Gentry Loftis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Vanhooser, Norma Loftis, and Lela Loftis, and a brother-in-law Richard Vanhooser.

Douglas enjoyed geneology and talking about family history. She loved her family, caring for an aunt and two sisters. She enloyed eating out, traveling and all kinds of flowers. Most of all, she loved worshiping God and spending time with family. She worshipped at Double Springs Church of Christ.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Presley Funeral Home located at 695 Buffalo Valley Rd Cookeville, TN 38501

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Presley Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Cookeville, TN.
