Obituary for Doris Dale Jackson (King)
Doris Dale (King) Jackson, 88 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at her home.
Doris was born Friday, May 20, 1932, in Hickman, Kentucky, and she was the daughter of the late Allen Dewey King and the late Nora Brittania (Crouch) King.
Doris was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. She was a very successful payroll manager for the company she worked for. She and her late husband Jimmy were very active in church, where they taught Sunday school and would organize nursing home visitation programs.
Doris is survived by, Sister, Helen King Larder and husband Don; Step-Sister, Juanita Johnson, and husband R.B.; Special Niece, Mickey (Berryhill) Popocik, husband Anthony, and daughters, Madison and Taylor; Nieces, Brenda, Polly, Hazel, Kaye, Sara, Connie, Sue, Sheila, and Terri; Nephews, Tom, Butch, Larry, Dan, Kenny, Gary, Randy, and David. Aunt, Emily King; A host of great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by, Husband of 65 years, Jimmy Jackson; Step-Mother, Mary King; Siblings, Richard, Hayden, Vayden, Randle, Mary Lee, and Lucille; Nephews, Donnie, Doug, and Rick;
Graveside Service for Doris Dale (King) Jackson will be held Friday, February 19, 2021, at 1:00 pm from the Clark's Cemetery in Clinton, Kentucky with her family officiating.
