Mr. Clifford Richard Rachford, age 90, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, surrounded by his family.

Clifford was born in Newport , KY on Thursday, July 3, 1930 to the late Virginia Callahan Rachford and the late Clifford Lester Rachford. He worked for CSX Railroad for many years. Cliff, or Pete, as he was known to many, always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He enjoyed painting and woodworking.

Clifford was married to his wife Joycelyn Rachford, who survives him, for 69 years.

Son - Stephen R. Rachford and wife Sandy of Monterey
Granddaughter - Stephannie Watson and husband Tyler of Crossville
Grandson - Stephen Jake Rachford of Monterey
Brother - Tom Rachford and family of Florida
Sister-in-law -- Darlene West and family of Arizona

Clifford chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
