Obituary for Charles "Chuck" Lee Hamilton
Charles "Chuck" Lee Hamilton, 85, (USAF, MSGT, retired), passed away peacefully at his home in Cookeville, Tennessee on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023.
Charles was born on April 6, 1937, in Crossville, Tennessee to the late Ralph and Mabel Hamilton.
Charles, also fondly known as Chuck, earned an MBA from University, had two Bachelor of Arts degrees, and was also a CPA. Charles's career included just over 20 years of service in the United States Air Force (USAF) from which he retired as a Master Sargent with many commendations. He was also a former CFO for a roofing company and plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Charles most recently retired from the Upper Cumberland Regional Health Department, where he served for over 20 years with the State of Tennessee. Charles was hardworking, enjoyed hunting in both the US and Germany and valued family above everything else.
Charles is survived by his wife Jenny, his son Jade and grandson Carson, his son Brian and granddaughter Hannah Anderson and her husband Josh Anderson and great granddaughter Aubree Anderson, his daughter Amber, and his daughter Debbie and her husband Dan Green.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Mabel Hamilton.
Charles chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
