Obituary for Carl Douglas Grover
Carl Douglas Grover, 85 of Rickman, Tennessee, and formerly of Gainesboro, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
Carl was Born Thursday, June 3, 1937, in Newton, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Raymond Grover and the late Frances Drake Sutton.
Carl was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Poppop, and friend. He loved hot rods and was a Ford and Harley Davidson fan. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Carl was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Carl is survived by, Wife of 45 years, Arlene (Popplewell) Grover; 3 Children, Susan Huston and her husband Gary, Lee Charnock and partner Barbara Levy, and Carl Grover, Jr and his wife Kathy; 6 Grandchildren, Courtney Vance, Mark Sasso and his wife Kerry, Marshall Grover, McKenzie Grover, Rachael Muir and her husband Adam, and Emily Kline and her husband Jesse; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Hayden Kline, Ella Fay Kline, Colton Sasso, Jessi Kline, Rylie Sasso, and Lilah Jo Muir; Sister, Janet Van Doren and her husband, Pete; A host of cousins and special friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life Gathering for Carl Douglas Grover will be held Monday, November 7, 2022, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
