Bruce Merle Heap, born January 5, 1942, passed away of natural causes, peacefully at home Friday evening, March 4, 2022. Bruce was born to Merle Ward Heap and Marguerite Jones Heap in St Johns, Apache County, AZ. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Tilton (married 57 years), sons: Michael of Fairfield Glade, TN, Derek (Jodi) of Cookeville, TN, Chad (Kaarin) of Ramona, CA, and daughter Kaci (Kris) Evans of Lebanon, TN, and 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Larry (Beverly) of St Johns, AZ, a sister, Patty (Milt) Brabant of Sierra Vista, AZ, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a daughter Lisa, his mother and father, and a sister Jacque Baca. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 981 S Walnut Ave., Cookeville TN 38501 with Bishop Derek Heap officiating. Interment will be at the St Johns City Cemetery in St Johns, AZ on Saturday, March 12.
