Obituary for Bradley "Brad" Merrill Berg

Bradley "Brad" Merrill Berg, 67, of Sparta, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Brad was born August 15, 1954 in Belleville, Illinois to the late Delmar Berg and the late Shirley (Hamelmann) Berg.

Brad's brother in Christ Tom Bailey summed up his life well with his words"Genesis 32 tells of the time when Jacob wrestled with God through the night. In the morning, Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” That reminds me of Brad. Brad took hold of God with a grip of faith. Through the wrestling of life, Brad never let go. God has blessed Brad. So, “who is this Brad guy? He’s a faithful man of God. He heard God’s call and answered. He’s a visionary who dreamed of a Christian service camp and built it from the ground up. He blessed Central Christian Church as he stepped out as a missionary and is loved by that body. He’s a church planter. He’s a mentor. He’s a husband, dad, and grandfather. Brad is my friend and brother in Christ. It is a privilege and honor to have walked with and served beside him."
