Bobby Jerrell Davidson, age 80, of Jackson County, Tennessee passed from this life Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

Bobby was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee, Tuesday, December 16, 1941, to the late Mabel B. Davidson and the late Ralph Lee Davidson. He was one of six sons. Bobby grew up in Nameless community, in Jackson County, before moving to Cookeville in 1965. After working at Fleetguard for over 16 years, Bobby worked at the US Postal Service until his retirement. Additionally, Bobby loved sports. He coached several youth teams, including baseball, basketball, and softball, when his children were growing up.

Bobby is survived by his Loving Wife of 57 years, Betty Davidson

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Eugene and Wallace, and son-in-law David Walters.

Funeral Services for Bobby J. Davidson will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 beginning at 12:00 noon at the Holladay Church of Christ 1765 Mine Lick Creek Rd, Cookeville, Tennessee, 38501 with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Holladay Church of Christ, Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
