Billy Joe Huddleston, 68, of Putnam County, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was 8 days shy of his 69th birthday.
Bill was born October 9, 1953, to the late Walter Ray Huddleston and Vallie Mae (Goodman) Huddleston.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and Army National Guard. He was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid gardener. He worked hard all of his life, always providing for and protecting his family. Bill was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sherrie (Roberts) Huddleston; 4 daughters, Sabrina Hurd, Samantha Britain, Scearia Monroe, Summer Huddleston; 9 Grandchildren, Chris Davis, Tyler Downs, Taylor Glover, Tierra Downs, Gabriel Britain, Serenity Monroe, Stephyn Brown, Elizabeth Britain, Nathan Monroe Jr; 2 great granddaughters Alonnah Downs and expected Aislyn Davis; 8 Siblings, Carlos Huddleston, and his wife Rose, Lorene Morgan and her husband, Steve, James Huddleston, and his wife Deborah, Linda Lalone and her husband, David, Sandy Huddleston, Dan Huddleston and his wife, Joyce, Wanda Williams and her husband, Eddie, and Terry Huddleston, and his wife, Tana; Brother-In-Law, Ronald Bowers; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by, 2 Siblings, Walter Huddleston, and Deborah Bowers.
Celebration of Life for Billy Joe Huddleston will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 4:00 pm at the Baxter Crossroads Church of God, 1342 Dunavin Drive, Baxter, Tennessee, 38544. Visitation with the family will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm.
