Obituary for Billy Franklin Harville

Billy Franklin Harville, 77 of Baxter, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Billy was born Wednesday, February 21, 1945, in Cookeville, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Lawrence Winell Harville and the late Lela (Farley) Harville.

Billy was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. After graduating high school, he started working for Dixie Royal Homes, where he drew up blueprints and built homes. Later on in life, he was employed with Duron - Flowserve, and Fleetguard - Cummins for many years. He was an avid bowler and he was on multiple bowling leagues in his younger years. He loved woodworking and was always making something whether it be porch swings, chairs, wagons, birdhouses, or anything else he came up with. He enjoyed old cars and especially his Powder Blue Ford Galaxie. He never met a cheeseburger he didn't like. He liked to watch old western shows like John Wayne and Roy Rogers. He never missed a professional wrestling match on TV and loved all of the wrestlers. He had a joke for every day and when he became sick, those he loved really missed that. Billy loved his family most of all and would do anything for them. He was the rock of the family, was loved by all that knew him, and will be greatly missed.
