Billy Don Graham, 87, of Algood, Tennessee, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 26, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Billy was born in Jefferson County, Illinois on Monday, June 18, 1934, to his parents, Eugene (Egbert) and Vauda (Harrelson) Graham.
Billy moved to Elgin, Illinois, where he met Mary (Dee) Manning and married her on Saturday, October 22, 1955. Billy and Dee were married 66 blissful years.
Billy and Dee enjoyed camping together for many years and they were able to travel to London, France, Scotland, and Hawaii together.
You could always hear Billy yelling at the referees at the Tennessee Tech Girls and Boys Basketball games or at home in front of the TV for St. Louis Cardinal Baseball games or Chicago Blackhawk Hockey games.
Billy retired from Modern Dairy in Elgin, Illinois, True Value Company in Cary, Illinois, and finally, the Brotherton Recycling Center in Brotherton, Tennessee. Billy was a hard worker from an early age on their farm in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to the recycling center when he finally quit working at the age of 82.
Billy is survived by his Beautiful Bride, Mary (Dee) Graham, two sons, Thomas (Sandra) and Ted (Michelle) Graham, two daughters, Cynthia Rush and Sandra (Kurt) Domianus, his grandchildren, Gramm (Gina) Schaedel, Gerry Graham, Keil (Heidi) Schaedel, Allison (Robert) Falcone, Shane Domianus, Jeff Graham, and Skye (Matt) Ibalio, and his great-grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, and Kolter Schaedel, Jane Falcone and Casey, along with many nieces and nephews.
Billy was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Eugene, Benjamin, and Evan, and a sister Wynona.
Billy was loved deeply by all who knew him and was a precious child of God!
Celebration of Life for Billy Don Graham will be held Monday, March 14 2022 at 7:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4:00 pm until the time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and would be greatly appreciated.
