Obituary for Billy "Cooper" Morgan

Billy "Cooper" Morgan, 86 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Cooper was born Friday, February 7, 1936, in Gainesboro, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late James Perry Morgan and the late Fronia Mae (Cooper) Morgan.

Cooper was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Pa, uncle, and friend.  He worked Coca Cola, Industrial Dust Control, and Washington Avenue Baptist Church.  He attended Washington Avenue Baptist Church for many years and served as a deacon.  Cooper was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.  

Cooper is survived by, Wife of 65 years, Georgia Morgan; 2 Sons, Tim Morgan, and Ronnie Morgan and his wife Lori; 5 Grandchildren, Kim Reynolds and her husband, Shawn, Rene Smith, Justin Morgan, Kaila Harris and her husband Hunter, and Spencer Morgan; 9 Great-Grand-Daughters, Hunter Magnolia Harris, Emalee, Arianna, Nevaeh, Danielle, Faith, Elizabeth, Brook,  and Baby On The Way, Halleigh Monroe Harris; Great-Grand-Son, James, Jr.; Brother, Joe Morgan and his wife Janie; Sister, Leola Masters, and Rose Lee and her husband Bill; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

In addition to his parents, Cooper was preceded in death by, 3 Brothers, UL Morgan, Shirley Morgan, and George Morgan; Sisters, Unetta Masters, and Martha Fields; 2 Brothers-In-Law, Vestal Masters, and Claude Masters; 2 Sisters-in-law, Ruby Morgan, and Etta Morgan.

The funeral Service for Billy "Cooper" Morgan will be held Friday, November 11, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Washington Avenue Baptist Church with Bros. Mark Gaw and Phillip Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home and Friday, November 11, 2022, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at the Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
