Betty Lorene Maggart, 89 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at NHC Healthcare.
Betty was born Friday, February 2, 1934, in Gainesboro, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of the late Willie Andrew Stafford and the late Loretta (Coffee) Stafford.
Betty was a loving daughter, sister, mother, Granny, Great Granny, and friend.
Betty is survived by, Daughter, Linda Brookins, and her husband, David; Grandson, David Brookins, Jr, and his wife Jessica; Great-Grand-Daughter, Jaden Brookins; Sister, Carol Byrne.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by, 2 Brothers, Junior, and Gene Stafford; 2 Sisters, Colleen Barefield, and Louise Poteet.
Betty chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
