Obituary for Aline Stamps (Nabors)
Ruby Aline Stamps, 85 of Cookeville passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021,
Born Saturday, April 13, 1935 in Cookeville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Haskel Nabors and the late Lee Robinson Nabors.
Aline was a loving mother grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Baptist Temple Church and retired from Cookeville Regional Medical Center where she worked in the cafeteria for several years.
Aline is survived by:
Daughter: Mary Ann (Michael) Brown of Hixson, TN.
Son: Bruce (Arlen) Stamps of McMinnville, TN
Sisters: Jean Bowman of Dayton, OH
Glenda Bumbalough of Cookeville, TN
Aline is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Debra Sue Martin husband L C Stamps sister Mary Lou Roberson, brothers Hershel Nabors and James Nabors.
The family will have a private service on Monday, February 8, 2021, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home, Burial will take place at Welch Cemetery
