Willie "Bill" Earl Williams, 89 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, November 23, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Bill was born Sunday, February 10, 1929 in Clay County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Orestus and Dolly (Connor) Williams.

Bill was a loving husband, dad, and PaPa. He was a man of few words who loved Jesus with all of his heart. While we mourn his loss, we take comfort in his gain.

Bill is survived by:

Wife of 67 years: Virginia Wray (Copeland) Williams

Daughter: Stacy and Bill Brown

Granddaughter: Katherine Brown

2 Brothers: Ed and Horace Williams

A host of nieces, nephews, family, and special friends.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by: 4 Brothers, Glen, J.T., Bobby, and Cecil Williams and 2 Sisters, Jewel Moore and Geneva Williams.

Funeral services for Willie "Bill" Earl Williams will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
